SASKATOON, CANADA – NORAC Systems International Inc. announces the release of the Standard Control™ system, a low cost boom height control solution starting at $4,900. The Standard Control™ system controls wing lift using the sprayer’s existing on/off valves while utilizing the same core components as NORAC’s UC5™ and UC4.5™ Boom Height Control systems.
“Standard Control™ was developed for select sprayer models with booms up to 90’ wide that are operating in less challenging terrain,” said Danea Armstrong, Vice President – Sales, Marketing & Service for NORAC Systems International Inc. “It is an ideal option for customers who are looking for an economical height control solution for smaller pull-type or used sprayers.”
Standard Control™ includes two of NORAC’s ultrasonic sensors mounted on the left and right boom tips to maintain a pre-set height of the wings above the ground or crop. Automatic control of the main lift can be added as an option. The system includes many of NORAC’s advanced technologies including Passive Roll Control™ and award-winning Hybrid Mode™. Hybrid Mode is a patented in-crop spraying feature that enhances boom control while spraying row crops eliminating the need for the operator to take manual control of the boom while spraying in adverse situations such as lodged, thin and uneven crops.
