SASKATOON, SK – February 15, 2013 – NORAC Systems International Inc. announces the release of Hybrid Mode™, the new in-crop spraying feature for NORAC Spray Height Control systems.
Hybrid Mode™ is a patent pending technology that will once again raise operator’s expectations of automatic boom height control performance. It enhances boom control while spraying row crops and eliminates the need for the operator to take manual control of the boom while spraying in adverse situations such as lodged, thin and uneven crops.
Spraying in Hybrid Mode™ increases the amount of time that the boom is at the target spray height, reducing drift and promoting efficient application of herbicides. Having pioneered soil and crop spraying modes, NORAC’s Hybrid Mode™ uses both the soil and the top of crop simultaneously to increase boom stability and reduce boom height error.
