ARMSTRONG, IOWA, February, 2014 – Art’s Way Manufacturing Co., Inc. (NASDAQ: ARTW), a leading manufacturer and distributor of agricultural machinery has introduced a new hammermill grinder/mixer.
Designed specifically for pork, dairy and poultry producers and highly configurable to specific needs, the 105-bushel 6105 hammermill grinder/mixer by Art’s Way has the following improvements over previous designs:
- Double the number of hammers from 36 to 72 within the same 20″ hammermill for faster grinding speeds along with more consistent grinds to produce excellent feed rations. The hammers are revisable.
- An optional scale system for improving accuracy in feed formulation. Weigh bars and spindles are standard.
- More base machine options offer combinations of hydraulic and manual operations for the lift & swing auger and discharge auger. A hydraulic auger feeder is also optional. Folding and bolt-on auger extensions are also optional.
- An additional fourth large inspection window on rear of the tank provides optimal viewing angles.
“Through feedback by end users, we have made an excellent product even better,” said Brian Crouch, Director of Sales and Marketing of Art’s Way. “We are confident it will improve the efficiency of producers’ feed processing operations.”
